What is Hermes Agent?

Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent from Nous Research, and the one we usually recommend. It remembers what it learns and turns repeated tasks into reusable skills. We set it up, connect it to your tools, and host it for you on a private server.

What is OpenClaw, and is it right for my business?

OpenClaw is a free, open-source AI agent that runs on a computer or server you control and talks to you over WhatsApp, Slack, email, and other apps. It can be a good fit for a small business that wants an assistant it fully owns. It also needs careful setup: it can take actions on its own, and unpatched installs have had serious security flaws. We set it up securely, connect it to your tools, and keep it updated.

Can you host and run the agents for us?

Yes. We host Hermes Agent, and OpenClaw, on a private server for each business, and look after monitoring, updates, and backups of the agent's memory and skills. The AI it uses is included in your plan, with a monthly limit we agree up front, so there's nothing else to sign up for and no surprise bills.

What are agent skills, and why would I want custom ones?

A skill is a small package of instructions, and sometimes scripts or templates, that teaches an AI agent how to do one task your way. Skills follow a shared open format, so one built for Hermes Agent generally also works in OpenClaw and Claude. Custom skills are how an agent stops giving generic answers and starts following your pricing, your tone, and your process. Public skill libraries are large, but a skill can run code on your computer, so we review any you want to install first.

Do I need technical staff to use AI agents?

No. We handle the setup and connections, and hand over something your team uses through the apps they already know, like email, Slack, or WhatsApp. We also write plain guides for the day-to-day.

What does it cost to run?

Hosted agents are a monthly plan that includes hosting, care, and a set amount of AI usage, so you know the cost in advance. For workflows built on tools you already pay for, we estimate any extra running costs before we build anything.

Is my business data safe?

Each agent runs on its own private server, we only use AI providers that don't train on your data, and we don't store your conversations. A person stays in the loop for anything involving money or customer commitments.

Should I use Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Zapier, or something else?

It depends on the job. For many small businesses a simple workflow in a tool you already pay for is enough. When an agent is the right fit, we usually start with Hermes Agent; OpenClaw makes sense if you already run it or need something specific from its ecosystem. We'll recommend the simplest option that does the work.
